Klar kann man einen stink normalen Fixie Rahmen als Basis nehmen und den Rohrsatz durch einen robusteren ersetzen. Dieser Denkansatz reichte uns aber nicht aus. Wir wollten weg von traditionellen Geometrien und einen Schritt weiter gehen. Dieser Rahmen wurde von Grund auf neu überdacht. Das Tretlager wurde ein klein weinig angehoben, um mehr Bodenfreiheit zu realisieren. Robuste BMX Kubeln am Fixie werden immer beliebter, darum musste der BSA Standard einem Spanish BB weichen. Diese sind wesentlich haltbarer und ermöglichen eine Optimierung der Kettenlinie beim Einsatz von BMX Kurbeln. Um mehr Platz zwischen Reifen und Fußspitze zu schaffen, wurde die Oberrohrlänge in einem vernünftigen Maß verlängert und der Lenkwinkel leicht abgeflacht. Zudem wurde das Oberrohr drastisch abgesenkt, für eine bessere Bewegungsfreiheit. Beim Rohrsatz vertrauen wir auf den Cromo Stahl, der sich bereits bei vielen unserer Dirt und BMX Rahmen bewährt hat. Auch Wandstärken und Rohrdurchmesser der Hauptrohre wurden 1:1 von unseren Dirtbikes übernommen.

Vinyl Solo Espresso
The Vinyl Solo is built around a pure cromoly track frame and fork with lugged connections and high-end paint job, giving the bike fine handling and great looks. It’s built using reliable components, and you will find some nice touches such as high profile rims (hand polished on the Vinyl Solo Mercury!) and a beautifully finished cockpit with a 1” quill stem. Removable cable guides mean that the frame remains totally clean and uninterrupted in breakless mode.

Vinyl Doppio Champagne
The Vinyl Doppio features a high performance cromoly frame with beautiful lost wax dropouts and lugs. To keep an optimum weight to strength ratio, the frame is built using double butted Tange tubes. The bike is equipped with some great parts such as the San Marco Rolls leather saddle, polished high profile rims, sealed bearing Novatec hubs and classy forged cranks with a fantastic retro-look. A cool detail are the tasty Dia Compe stainless steel cable guides that you can mount when using brakes, but will leave the frame completely clean when the bike is built brakeless.
